5A Student Updates

Hello families!

When we are able, the students will have a chance to write short blurbs on Google Drive to share on our blogs with families. Below are some of the topics they chose to share:

ART

In art we are having fun drawing for art to remember. It is a program to admire your childrens beautiful art work on many things like coffee mugs,lunch boxes, journals, and mouse pads. We are drawing beach theme pictures. on are bech we have different things like umbrellas, crabs, pails, shovels and beach balls. It has been so fun this year creating our art. when we are done our drawings will be sent off to Art to remember to be scanned. When they come back they will also have a delivery sheet with it. you may order anything to admire your childrens art. It was so fun we all can’t wait to go to ART again!

Diversity

Dear parents,

Our topic to tell you about is Diversity. Diversity are the differences between people. It could be something unique about them or it could be a weird freckle that no one else has. We played a games that involved paper snowballs, the object of the game was to figure out whose snowball you had. Before you throw the snowball u have to write something unique about yourself, then you throw the ball and someone picks it up not knowing who it belongs to. Then we read it to our self and then out loud. Once you read it you walk around the room asking other students “ Does these snowball belong to you?” The last person whose snowball has not been found whens the game. Thats all. Writing

In Writing we are writing Fantasy stories and some of our stories are getting to be pretty long and good. Most of our stories have a lot of action in them and craziness. Ryan is writing about Eric the unicorn and the Flubber Aliens. Devin is writing about Bo The Dragon and his friend Jerry. Carson is writing about a price that lives in the woods and has a dog named Fido that can talk.
