Revolutionary War Simulation
These past few days we have been doing a simulation of the Revolutionary War. We got to pick a random person(fake) and be that person and do the things that the people did back then and act it out.
we get things called pows that are kind of like money, we can use them to buy PACTS that can do things against other colonies.I am part of the Loyalist and we hired bodyguards to protect us.This way no actions against us could happen. Every congressional congress/meeting that we have we get to choose to buy up to three PACTS. You use these PACTS against the other colonies as in the Patriots and nutralest. PACTS can be good or bad like if the Loyalist chose to hire body guards and the Patriots want to tar and feather them well its not there lucky day because they just spent over 10 POWS and just lost it.
Nutralest are people that have yet to choose a side they are allowed to stay neutralist or join the Patriots or Loyalists. Loyalists are people that are on the kings side and choose to do what he says and only what he says. Patriots are people that want to be free and not listen to the King and what he says.
OUR OWN NUMBER COMPUTER
So we have our own numbers for our lunch line. We have computers that have # 1-27. So one day someone said “Ms.armstrong we should have our own number for our computer which would make it so we could log in faster.And make everything faster.So instead of loging in 10 minutes it would be like that! And that would also make it so we’re already in google drive.And it will not take 10 minutes to log in.With numbers on the computers it will be organised with everyone.
Young Authors
Young Authors is where you have to write a book to enter in a contest. If you get second or first place you can move on. And there is a big party with candy and lemonade and you also get a pencil and your book. You have 2 months to write the books and get pictures for them.Sometimes they give rewards for stuff like best fantasy story, and best realistic fiction.
Paper Airplanes
In class we made a paper airplanes in class. We had a partner who would tell us the directions only so they can’t tell us if we did something wrong because we had our backs to each other. We did this to get ourselves prepared for challenger where we have to give verbal instructions through a microphone and can’t show them how to do the task.
