Lunchroom Dojo

By Morgan and Anna G.

You know Classdojo, right? Well, we have Class Dojo now in the lunchroom! Each class gets a dojo point when they’re behaving right. For example, putting our heads down, covering our face. Mrs. Edwards, Ms. Oester, and the school supervisors told us that we will have a prize that we will win if we do a good job. We think the prize is either popsicles or root beer floats. Each class has an avatar, and it has points. 5A has done a really good job! Go 5A!

MusicTheory.Net

Musictheory.net is a computer program we have been using in music class. It helps us identify notes on a music score. We like it! It helps us learn keys and notes. If we want to learn how to play an instrument, it helps us learn the notes. Miss Wilson, the student teacher, gives us a piece of paper to write down our time and our score that we check on the i-note. The i-note lets us know our progress. We hope to use musictheory.net throughout the year.

Cape Cash Cart

By:DJ and Peyton In school we get this money like thing called cape cash and we get to buy things with it and we get a cart full of praises to choose from some thing are little and some are big and some cost too much every once in awhile we get it and we only get 5 minutes to buy something then it's someone else's turn and the teacher picks who goes and if you're not acting correctly you go last you do not have to buy anything if you don't want to and the only way you can get cape cash is if a teacher gives to you the cape cash is blue and has a superhero on it and our teacher gave us a bag to put our cape cash in and it has to last for a long time that's why we put it in a safe place and the bag has our name on it.It is very easy to earn cape cash.

He was born on september 4th at 12:19 am. We got to see a picture of him and he was adorable his name is jackson. She will be returning soon. And i asked if she could bring her baby to school at the end of the day and she said maybe. one of her friends is going to throw her a baby shower and is going to be sports themed. Jackson is a very healthy baby.

Opening Doors

So when we walked in the lunchroom there were cloths on the tables and we could spot cinnamon rolls. First we did a little activity called the ice breaker challenge. Basicly we had to figure out puzzles like visual puzzles. Then we talked about opening and how important it is. David Lewis came out and talked to us about how we should make a goal and stick with it. Then we got to chill out, eat cinnamon rolls, and drink orange juice. Then David Lewis talked about his talking stick. He said you only have two ears and one mouth. So you should listen twice as much as you talk. Then we had to sign something called a pledge of success.

Art to Remember

By: Payton R & Vanessa

Art to Remember is a program where we do a project on a special piece of paper, then Ms.Olson, our ART teacher sends it to the company, and if your parents ordered something, they put you art on that object. There is t-shirts, bookmarks, bags, notebook cover, cup, phone case, etc. This year 5th grade is doing candy drawings. We included shading, lettering, and of course the candy itself! Some kids did, M&M’s, Sour Patch Kids, Hershey's, Nerds, etc. All grades do this project, but each grade is a different thing, for example, fourth grade is not doing candy like fifth grade.
